About Kent College

Kent College is registered as a private career college under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005 and is a leading institution of higher learning founded upon the principle that relationship building is at the heart of both educational and professional success. Our academic programs focus on the interpersonal skills vital to professional achievement, while our faculty and staff nurture students' confidence - as well as competence - to thrive in their chosen fields.

On our campus - a small setting with an intimate feel - the learning environment emphasizes community and respect. We emphasize respect through sensitivity to diversity, valuing of opinions and reverence for our community. To us, community represents the rich collaboration between Kent faculty, students and staff and our heartfelt community outreach.

As a small college, Kent has one important advantage - a small class size!   In our classes, professors actually know the name of their students, are able to track more carefully a student's understanding of the material, and provide more personal attention to students' needs. We also provide a more congenial environment in which students can get to know each other. In many ways, what students learn outside of the classroom is just as important to them in their adult lives as what they covered inside the classroom.
