    Admission

The admission staff treats each application carefully, evaluating personal as well as intellectual qualities, and making every effort to be thorough, sensitive and fair.

The goal is to bring together a group of students marked not only by their exceptional academic ability but also by a variety of backgrounds, particular interests, and accomplishments. Kent College is a place where students have much to offer and to learn from each other.

The next steps in the application process are as follows:

    1. Complete the Kent College Application Form.   The form is available on-line.  Click here for the form

    2. Arrange with your school(s) to send us an original copy of your transcripts.  Also, please arrange to have any reference letters, certificates, proof of volunteer work, etc..., forwarded to us.

    3. If you are from out-of-town or province, you can choose to write our admission exam at an invigilation centre close to you. (click here to see our invigilation centres) Kent College does not charge a fee to write its admission exam.  However, the invigilation centre itself my charge a small fee.  When arranging to write your exam, ensure that you ask them what their fee is.  Once, you have established a writing date, please call or email the Registrar with this information.  To email the Registrar, use the contact form on our website. Click here for the Contact Form.

    4. An in person or over-the-phone interview with our Registrar is required.  During the interview, the Registrar will ask a series of questions that form part of our admission process.

    5. Once we have all your documents, transcripts, admission exam results and Registrar’s notes, the application is forwarded to our Academic Advancement Committee. It is this Committee that approves or declines an application.  If your application is approved, an Acceptance Package is forwarded to you.  You will be provided with 10 days to respond to the application at which time you will be required to complete a Kent College student contract and submit your course material fee.

    6. As part of the acceptance you will need to provide the college with a criminal background check as well as proof of immunization. The Acceptance Package contains forms pertaining to these requirements which you will need to have completed
